Why South Shore calls us instead of the tip

South Shore (FY4) is a Blackpool Council area, with its household tip being the Bristol Avenue HWRC right across town in Bispham (FY2 0JG) — a long haul from the southern end of the resort, and no good for a van load. What makes South Shore distinct is the sheer density of holiday accommodation behind the Promenade: guest houses and flats refurbishing between seasons throw out old beds, mattresses, wardrobes and carpets by the vanload, and there's nowhere on-site to store it. We handle those seasonal strip-outs, the bulky furniture runs from upstairs rooms, and the everyday household and garden clearances on the residential streets towards Squires Gate. Every load is sorted, recycled where we can at licensed facilities, and covered by a Waste Transfer Note — important when it's a business under its own duty of care.
